Lake Almanor Country Club and Lake Almanor are located in Plumas County between the towns of Chester and Westwood. LACC is approximately 2 hours or 125 miles northwest of Reno, Nevada, 1 ½ hours or 85 miles east of Chico, Red Bluff and Redding, California, and about 3 ½ hours north of Sacramento. The entrance gates to Lake Almanor Country Club are located at 600 Clifford Drive and 501 Peninsula Drive. The Clifford gate, or upper gate, is staffed 7 AM to Midnight from the middle of May through Labor Day. At all other times the hours are 7 AM to 6 PM. The Peninsula gate, or lower gate, is staffed from May through September from 7 AM to 5 PM. Entrance to LACC after staffed hours is by proximity gate card or remote control.
